The kea plum is Cornwall’s very own. Discovered over 400 years ago along the Fal estuary, it’s a little too sharp to eat without cooking. Gathered Botanicals kea plum jelly is sublime with roast meats - especially venison and pheasant - with cheese, in sandwiches and of course on toast. Dense plum flavour and pleasantly sharp.
Based in Cornwall, Gathered Botanicals produce seasonal jams, jellies and syrups made from fruits sourced from their own gardens and several small local producers. They are made completely by hand and in tiny quantities with a focus on environmentally friendly practices (the entire production process is plastic free).
