Sourced from a single farm in Peru's San José de Lourdes (in the north of Peru, close to the Ecuadorian border). The Flores Chilcón family has been farming here since 2009 however, more recently their son David has begun to push production towards more speciality methods.
Caturra and Bourbon varietals receive a medium roast resulting in a fresh, juicy flavour profile. This is high acid, grape and plum fruit style coffee that retains a sweetness but doesn't veer towards darker, nuttier flavours.
This is a coffee that's very much 'of-the-now' in the more fruity vein. I absolutely sings when used with a pour-over or Aeropress method.
