Single-origin might be all the rage but we've still got a sweet spot for the art of blending beans from multiple sources to create a more balanced, 'complete' final product.
This 5th iteration of Square Mile Roastery's seasonal blend is made specifically with filter brewing methods in mind. It's a lovely all-rounder balancing sweet, full, chocolate, cream and caramel notes (from Columbian Magdalena) with the fresher, black grape notes of Peruvian Cochalan.
The result is a brilliant all-day drinker of a coffee that's both smooth and mouth-filling whilst also being distinctively fruit-forward. We've been enjoying this blend using a V60 dripper with a slightly higher ratio of 85 grams per litre of water (that's 30 grams to a 350ml cup).
