Steve Benbow had initially come across the idea of urban beekeeping whilst working as a photojournalist in New York during the 90's. Years later, now living in central London, the idea returned to him as a way to re-connect with his rural Shropshire roots.
What started as a few hives on a London rooftop has grown to the point where Steve now sites hives across the United Kingdom and his incredible honey can now be found in the kitchens of some of the country's most renowned chefs (including our very own Quality Chop House!)
The London Honey Company provides wonderful examples of place with each honey sourced from a single locale, its flavours the result of the local flora. Some are spicy, others are floral, all are incredible!
